Who we are

This website is run by Annie J. Rose, an author based in New Zealand. If you have a question about your data, email contact@anniejrose.com.

What this website collects

Very little. There are no accounts, no comments, no advertising and no tracking cookies. To count visits, the site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which sets no cookies and does not follow you to other websites. Cloudflare, our web host, also keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and the page requested) for a short time to keep the site secure and working. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

If you choose an Amazon store at the bottom of the page, your choice is saved in your own browser so the buy buttons open the right store next time. It is never sent to us.

The newsletter

The newsletter sign-up page is run by MailerLite. If you join, your email address is used only to send you news about new releases, giveaways and free books. Every email has an unsubscribe link. See MailerLite’s privacy policy for how they store your details.

Links to other websites

Buy buttons go to Amazon, and other links go to Goodreads, BookBub and social media. Those sites have their own privacy policies and may set cookies once you are there.

As an Amazon Associate, Annie J. Rose earns from qualifying purchases. Amazon may use a cookie to know that you came from this site. This costs you nothing extra.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete any personal information we hold about you (in practice, only your newsletter email). Email contact@anniejrose.com and we will reply within 20 working days, as the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 requires. If you live in the EU or UK, you also have your rights under the GDPR.
